A/C compressor replacement

Being new to this forum, I searched an answer to my problem, but did not find it. I want to replace a defective A/C compressor on a 1966 230sl with a modern universal one dragging less HP. Is there a model number doing the job at a reasonable price.

Search for "Sanden compressor" and you'll get more than 10 hits to read and study.  ;)
