Fuel filter o-ring
« on: September 20, 2013, 15:22:35 »
I have ordered a new Mahle KX 35 fuel filter and am not sure if these come with a new rubber o-ring seal to go in the canister.

Assuming they don't, and as I don't know the condition of the existing seal, does anyone know if these are available from MB or maybe have specs for a replacement that I can have to hand just in case?

Thanks

David

Hi, David,

Filter comes without 'o' ring.

Available from MB.
Also change copper sealing washer on the bolt

The fuel filter o-ring is a square profile. Use grease to hold the new one in place while installing the filter and canister.
