How much yardage of MBtex for bottom of hardtop?
« on: October 28, 2013, 02:15:45 »
Hi, my bamboo MBtex around the bottom of my 280SL hardtop is looking tired, as are the edges of the MBtex on my soft top cover lid.  Does anyone have a good idea of how much replacement MBtex I should order plse? I see Budsbenzs supply it by the yard at 60" wide.

You can buy the material for the hatch cover already pre cut.

Hi,

I will need to do this change also.

Any instructions about to remove and replacement of this tex?

I don't see any screw or bolt to remove this part.

Thanks in advance

Hi, thanks for the pre-cut tip however as I will have plenty left over from the underrside of the hardtop I figure it should be easy to cut myself,  The exisiting MBtex on the soft top hatch lid is good enough to provide a pattern.
