Thanks Mike, the lady was very experienced in her work. It turned out very well.

Sorry Stan, it was just like a pit stop for the photo session, it now hangs in the lower area of the house (my Man-Cave) where I enjoy seeing it with my evening glass of red :)

my wife and daughter tell me I have no taste… (except for a taste in selecting the right car, obviously, but all of us here have that). Peter

Peter
Upon reviewing some past posts I noted that I overlooked one of yours (please accept my humble apologies as I have no idea how this could've possibly happen! ;))

I dont know if your wife ever looks at the forum, but in case she does I suggest you amend that post by putting something along this:

..."my wife and daughter tell me I have no taste… (except for a taste in CHOOSING HER AND selecting the right car, obviously, but all of us here have that)"

or in the gender sensitive way, as some members, shocked by the famous thread in the Way-Off-Topics chapter, seem to claim through PMs"

..."my wife and daughter tell me I have no taste… (except for a taste in CHOOSING MY PARTNER THAT JUST HAPPENS TO BE A WOMAN AND selecting the right car, obviously, but all of us here have that)"

Not only do my wife and my daughter never read this forum, THEY do not qualify THEIR statement that "I have no taste". Stan, you met my wife. How can you doubt the sincerity of my statement ???

Hi, JA17  asked me to post the attached painting I did of Olga a while back. She is a '66 230SL w/ A 5 spd manual & about 150k on the unmolested engine. A Euro version delivered in Italy and still runs sweet. I've had her about 10 years. Thanks for looking,  Jim P.
