We kind of either laugh or ogle at the suggestive or racy photos here, but at the real auto shows, at least in the USA and specifically the Detroit show
http://www.naias.com/ most of the automaker's booths are staffed by a group of models, youngish men and women. The women are not much different in dress and appearance than some of the photos showing here, but what you probably didn't know is that they are (not fooling here) all highly skilled and knowledgable about the products they stand before. There's one primary agency that handles this hired talent and there's a lot of training involved. When at the media days this past week with the editor of The Star magazine, we stopped and quizzed a couple and sure enough they had the brains to match the beauty; they most definitely knew what they were talking about. The name of the agency that hires and trains these is called Productions Plus.
