Head rests
« on: August 12, 2004, 16:41:34 »
All,

Joined today, here's the start of my inquiries. Looked for head rests on the site, couldn't find an answer: How to, if possible, add head rests to seats of my 1966 Pagode? Do I need to buy new seats, if yes, where?
Seat covers are in lousy condition.

Kind regards,
Marnix

you need the 2 headrests and 2 head rest rails per side , you can get the head rests from many different cars but i thionk the rails are unique to the car , the seat covers are the same only need to make the holes

I think it's probably easier to find seats already fitted for headrests. More than likely, you'll have to recover them, but sounds like you have to do that any way. What color are you looking for? Perhaps someone here knows of an interior out there.

Recently there were 3 pairs of headrests on ebay.  I rember Passarelli doing a 230sl restoration and added headrests at the request of the owner.
