My 15 year old daughter, partially licensed to drive, has had about as much interest in collector cars, cars in general, and the nice Pagoda in the garage as she has in cleaning bathrooms. (hint: none.)
Lo and behold, I come in over the weekend, and find her binge-watching "Top Gear" on Netflix! She was nearly halfway through Season 2 (for some bizarre reason, Season 1 isn't available on Netflix). She is thoroughly amused by Clarkson and his mates, and curiously mystified by "The Stig."

She pines for one of those peculiar bike/cars called a Carver, likening it to her "Rip-Stick". I do believe that she'll learn an awful lot about cars just by watching. She's into the first few of season 3 now…and soon she'll come across the Pagoda episode (Season 3, Episode
and might be curious as opposed to annoyed about the red roadster in the garage!
There might be hope yet!
