Replacing Rear Diff. Mount: Question:
« on: August 24, 2004, 12:25:30 »
Hi, I just ordered the rear diff mount from Miller's.This is the mount that is accessed via the trunk under the small square plastic cover. My question is about R&R procedure. I assume that placing a jack under the diff housing with a block of wood and slightly preloading the diff while unbolting the four bolts and center bolt will work?  Are there torques values for this mount?  Please help, thanks, as I do not have the BBB yet.  Thank you!

Hi James,

It's a fairly easy job to do.  Rodd did a great write up of the procedure in his post dated 29 Sept 2003. It should be all you need.

Good luck
