Pagodas and other vintage Mercedes on Polish TV

A Polish TV station (TVN) hosted their morning program today at the Stacja Mercedes. Vintage Mercedes owners were invited to display their cars, so our Polish Pagoda team was also invited. Due to scarce space, only one car per type was exposed in from of the Stacja, although our group was represented by 6 Pagodas.

The picture below taken very early in the morning gives you the general idea of the scene, although it does not shows the compact crowd that showed up bu noon despite solid heat (+33oC or 92oF).

Centrally located (as it should be ) is Artur's moss green Pagoda 280 SL

Polish Pagoda Team. Hmmmm ... almost as tantalizing as was the Swedish Bikini Team in the 80-ies (hint, youtube and beer commercials).

I will suggest to our SOs to get acquitted with the idea of imitating the SBT. Great idea that will certainly enhance our driving experience.

Meantime, we have now identified about 40+ Pagoda owners in Poland and depending on event, some of them meet from time to time. So maybe this is a squad rather than a team???
