Let us check or even talk about ....
« on: August 06, 2014, 22:38:19 »
the colour of our cars ... a few of us have purchased there treasure new and therefore selected the colour. Most of us purchased our cars from a first, second or even third owner.

I came across this link ----> https://translate.google.ca/translate?sl=de&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.farbenundleben.de%2Fautofarben%2Fautofarben.htm&edit-text=

it talks about colour and why we select it .... how close are the facts in your case (site translated from German to English for your convenience).

In my case the colour code is 903 H ... I must say when I do get comments about the car it is mostly "What a nice colour! Followed by what year it is or the like :)

Enjoy reading :)

I had a dark green (Dark Olive) 280SL 5 speed.  My wife wanted a light blue Auto. Spent two years searching for the right light blue one.  Now its telling me that it is “lady like”

I have just a color change from 423H Tobacco Brown to  172G Anthracite Grey.

Love the new color. It make such a difference. Keep the same interior.

A while back I read article that you buy the car you like and then change the color to suit your taste.

If it paint is not in good condition - then do a color change to what you like, if you have the well sorted out and like it.
