560SL for 117,000 euros.  Maybe all their decimal points got moved to the right?

What is strange to me is many of their listings have the exact same prices on them.

Looks to me that there prices are always extremely high. There are quite a few rich people in Europe (as there are elsewhere) they don't seam to mind spending this kind of money.

Makes me think Benz Dr (Dan) has a fine 600 restored for sale, perhaps he should sell it to Barbus for $500K US shipping it to them will only be around $3K They then would properly advertise it in the $800K to $900K range LOL

Hi everyone,

How about this 230SL with a starting starting bid of $199,000

 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Benz-SL-Class-2-door-1965-mercedes-230-sl-rare-european-euro-model-like-280-sl-230-sl-/321536952936?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4add188a68&item=321536952936&pt=US_Cars_Trucks#ht_1631wt_1314

The owner seems to want to recoup the costs after buying a Ferrari.

Regards,

Yem

Either the seller hallucinates or he misplaced the comma, $19,999 would be more reasonable.

The seller recovered in time and made it a straight auction which probably helped him to sell the car at quite a high price, IMO.

At the Frankfort autoshow last year, Brabus had a pair of verry well restored 280SL they ofered at 250,000 Euros each, I went doen the hall to Metronics who said that the price was too high that their resterations were ONLY 200,000 euros.

Hi all,

This is definitely a new high for Australia at $200,000

http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Mercedes-Benz-280SL-1970/AGC-AD-17331388/?Cr=42

Even at that price you don't get the genuine diamond look firewall pad.....and in my opinion not the most attractive colour on the car.
