Sorry Friends, I cannot make it. Wife now in a wheelchair since mid April and my outings are limited to short trips around town (max 3 hours). Learning how to be a good Caregiver is my new outlook on life. Still spending time with my Pagoda gives me some time off that I do look forward to.
I've so enjoyed meeting all of you in Williamsburg, Virginia last September and Mike on our way thru Charleston on our way down south. You all have a great trip and post plenty of pictures to share with us that cannot join you.
BTW. Talking about outings, I spend 6 hours today in the Hospital with my Wife, it gave me time to read
Pagoda World Issue 15 from Cover to Cover, what a great issue it is. I hope you all enjoyed it as well! Thanks to Peter, Waqas, Garry, Ray and Stan for the great stories and photographs (I think I spotted my Blue Tornado in some of the photos in the hotel parking lot as well as on the concours on the green if only in the far distance still it is hiding between all them fine automobiles)
I noticed The Polish 5 Car Team showed the Polish Flag ... I had the same idea driving onto the green at the New Kent Winery as I put a American, Canadian and German flag into the center hold down lock for the hardtop after arriving early at the Winery. Arriving as the first Pagoda at the Winery they made my car the lead car I was surprised indeed of being selected for that task.
Someone ask me "Why the three flags?" I told them "Well, I am always thankful to the Americans for liberating us in Germany, I live in Canada and I was born in Germany and this fine car came originally from Germany"
