I am a bit puzzled.
I was in the process of shopping for a replacement radio for my car (I presently have a "Europa"), but the 1964 options list clearly shows "Becker Europa" as a possibility, where the technical manual says the correct radio for this car would be the "Europa TR" with the smaller faceplate and dash opening.
I was under the impression the DIN sized Europa arrived on the market a few years after 1964.
Am I right in assuming this options booklet lists the "Becker Europa" meaning "Europa TR"?

I think the booklet refers to a Europa TG as below (a euro version with shortwave), with the transistor Europa TR becoming available in late 1964. Both have separate amplifiers. Does your data card list a radio in option 51x?

Hi Dave,
Thanks for replying to me. My car was delivered in Germany with no radio 30 sept 1964. It has a Europa in the (enlarged) hole right now. I could put a delete plate, but the cost of filling the antenna hole makes it not worthwhile money wise.  A new mounting plate is easy enough to paint and put in place, I just want to put the "most likely" radio for my car, I thought it was the TR...should it be the TG instead or are both equally sept. 1964 correct?

A TR is probably most likely for your car. The Wikipedia W113 page has 04/1964: US models with radio Becker Europa TR instead of Europa TG (Engelen 1991).  I guess that transition would also apply to European cars. Small-face TR radios include Europa, Mexico and Grand Prix. They are all expensive and most for sale are unlikely to be working perfectly unless restored.
