280sl transimission engages forward gears when reverse is selected....

we have the newly rebuilt TBR tranny installed in my 280sl....

are the full tech manuals available online in cd form or something ?  i checked on ebay and did not see anything.

car operates fully in all forward gears.....  and when reverse is selected, no reverse,  forward gears are also engaged.

any thoughts ?

dont know the TBR tranny , but sounds like your Lever- linkage-routing is not 100 % .
