RustOleum peelable Rock Guard

Has anyone ever tried this?

I am thinking it could have its uses before a long highway trip on the front bumper, grille assembly, and the nose of the car prone to road dust chips.  For that matter, one could even put it inside the wheelwells at the beginning of the driving season and peel it off before winterizing to minimise paint and undercoating erosion caused by the tires slinging sand and pebbles?  Thoughts?

Most interesting. I have not tried it, but will be very curious to see if anyone has had experience with this.

It is very interesting as there are a few areas on a Pagoda that are very prone to chips especially between the lights and grill.
