OK, Thanks Ian ....
We will wait to hear from Mark Evans and eleonard.
BUT, the last guy on the list is Scottcorvette and he lives in the UK  :o and has a set.

Scottcorvette, before we come to the conclusion that maybe you should send it to North America as you suggested ... can you tell me specifically what you have? I might not want it. I'm picky.  ;D

Mark Evans is Australian and I think he used the one that I have and gave it back to me when he had finished.

Let's wait to hear what Eleonard has to say.
Also, I sent PMs to  cstinchi, x046866x, and dnierle just in case any of them can paint a clearer picture.  ;D
Take care,
Mark

Hi Garry
This time I'm response ding to your Nov 2017 post, instead of 2016! My mistake. Do you happen to know the current status and whereabouts of the Australasian 280SL hubcap stencils?  I'm ready to paint my hubcaps ASAP. Cheers

Is the North American set of stencils still missing?

Apparently so.

A member has offered to donate another set but at this point I have suggested that they wait until we find the set that someone has but not sharing at this time or come up with a more robust system than just an honour system.

Bit disappointing actually but maybe not surprising in todays world.

Actually, I have found dnierle had the US stencils.
He will be sending them to me unless someone needs them immediately. If someone has an immediate need, speak up because I can surely wait for them.
No offense intened to dnierle, but in the future, should we think about restricting the borrowing of this to full memebers???

I agree Scoot, they were to be restricted to Full Members but that has got lost somewhere in the process.

Maybe a Board Member should hold on to them and send them out, at Group cost, to each member wanting to use them on the understanding that the member is then responsible for returning them to the Board Member of completion of their painting. That way they are accounted for and are just another Full Member benefit.

I thought I was holding the Australian stencils  (two green rubber/latex star/rings) for painting the hubcaps, but now believe that one of the Australian members has them at the present time.

Can our Australian Members check if they do have the hub cap stencils and let me know please

Please see the following new topic for the club's Stencils that will be lent out to the Americas.
I hope you agree that a separate topic will be easier to follow.

For Full members, yes, but some members are full members and then they leave the group or don't pay to renew and then become 'non' full members.
I'm one of them.
