I was there 3 weeks ago at the fishing pier  , unfortunately without Pagoda.
It is every year an unforgettable journey of tamp along the island to Anna Maria.

The picture that  was posted with the sailor kissing the nurse is on the bay front in Sarasota, Florida

sorry, you're right. It is Sarasota with its beautiful marina, I think the many sun had blinded me. Unfortunately not seen a pagoda there this year , last year, only a blue 230sl . She stood at a dealer on the 41 near Sarasota and was in poor condition.

... but it could have been a photo from "America's Finest City"!  ;)
The statue was here for many years in front of the "Midway" and next to the Bob Hope Memorial.
