Pagoda SL needed for MB Club Display - Scottsdale 1/17/15

I'm looking forward to escaping the bitter cold of Minnesota and spending some time at 'Arizona Auction Week' in Scottsdale, AZ, next week.

The Desert Stars Section of the MBCA holds an annual dinner, the Saturday night of auction week in Scottsdale each year. I was just on the phone with John Phin of the Desert Stars MBCA, he's one of the organizers of the event and he's trying to get one example of each generation of the Mercedes SL to be on display outside the restaurant, Maggiano's, in Scottsdale on Saturday evening, January 17th. The event starts at 5:00, there's a dinner, panel of speakers to discuss general Mercedes topics / take questions form the audience.

Already lined up is an R107, R129 and R220 SL.. but he doesn't have a Pagoda... seems hard to believe?

I thought I'd post this info here... I've already spoken to a number of sl113.org members who are going to be in Scottsdale next week... but they're traveling from other parts of the country, by plane, won't have their cars with them...

So... is there anyone here who has a 113 IN Scottsdale that might be interested in attending the event and displaying their car?

Per capita, I think there are a fair amount of 300SLs, and probably 190s in the area too.. but  he just mentioned the lack of a Pagoda SL... thought maybe I could help.

If you've got one and are interested... let me know, PM me, I can put you in touch with John and you can help finish up the SL display.

I recommend you prepare a email and send this link to members in Scottsdale, AZ. Someone might respond. It be a shame if no Pagoda is available.

To get to the e-mail addresses do the following Click on Members then click on Location (in the table this will sort members by location), scroll down to the bottom of the table and click on Pages until you see Page 26 there you now will see members in Scottsdale, AZ. and there e-mail addresses allowing you to PM them.

Unfortunately (as you can see in the tables) not all members or associate members show there complete location. Therefore only a few are shown. I attach a screen shot for your information. You will have better luck e-mailing the individuals since most are not very active on the site as you can see by the number of posts they made. Good Luck.

I've send a PM to Member Desertpagoda (he was last on the site in October), problem is he is 3 1/2 hours up north, still he might know someone in the area that can make it.

Thanks Rolf-Dieter... I just thought I'd post something here to see if anyone from out that way was a regular forum visitor and wanted to bring their car.
