When were the shows?

I didn't hear about the Boca show this year.

I had a judge at the Ferrari Cavallino event in January in Palm Beach stop me on Worth Avenue and tell me I should put my 280SL in the Amelia Island show, but I thought he was just being polite - my car isn't really show quality.

Boca and Amelia are invitation only shows.  Amelia rarely ever has Pagodas on the show field. In fact I have been attending for ten years and can only recall one Pagoda there.

I even contacted Bill Warner at Amelia to remind him that 2013 was the 50Th anniversary.  He deffered to the MB Classic Center who made up a special poster commemorating the anniverasary, but no cars.

Amelia is pretty picky about the cars they invite.  For eaxample: Have you ever seen a 57Chey or a two passenger T-Bird there?

You should have attended Amelaia on Saturday during cars and coffee as there were six pagodas there.

Boca isn't as picky.  They have a European Sports class 1960-1975.  Pagodas can apply for that class.

The Boca show is in late Feb. I was invited to show my 600 in 2014 but could not make it. For one thing, it's in the middle of winter, maybe not in Florida but it sure is round here. The second and bigger reason is cost. Getting the car there, ( it's a long ways ) getting myself there, costs while being there, and then hauling the car all the way back home after the show.
