This author Bernd Koehling came out with a book "1960's M-B" in 2012, which I have.
I think it is very good. Fine writeup about the development history of our favourite W113 cars.  See:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mercedes-Benz-1960s-Volume-W100-W108/dp/1480237221/ref=pd_rhf_dp_s_cp_4_8JJT?ie=UTF8&refRID=0ATWMMG87KJ6NEAQ3KQS

The new title you refer to Naj seems to be treating the subject of SL series cars from M-B, up until 1971. Very productive author indeed.

I have had this book for some time. Anybody interested should look at multiple sources on Amazon. I bought one that was about half the price of the primary listing.

Anyway, the title implies it exclusively 113's. In reality its 113's among other models. But still worthwhile.

Received the book last week. Really good. I agree it covers cars from the gullwing to the last 280SL.
At The end of the book it lists the specs for these cars. Again Gullwing to the last 280SL.
