steering box

I have read some articles on resealing MB steering boxes. There is a very good on the w126 box. What box does the 230sl use and how much different would it be from the w126?

I am going to have the steering box off to replace the plastic bushing so I thought it would be a good time to replace the seals as the box has some leaks.
