Finally, nice day for a ride
« on: July 12, 2015, 22:31:55 »
Took our pagoda out for a drive today. It has been a while since it has been out for a spin ( a new " toy" in the garage to play with, grandson down for a visit with his parents, and oppressive heat then thunderstorms here in Central CA). It was a beautiful day here this morning, almost spring like, and our little SL was, as always, eager to go and such a pleasure to drive. Put the key in, let the fuel pump prime the FIP, and she started right up. Our new "Toy", a MB C300, is a great car, with just about every bell, whistle and creature comfort you can think of but oh so complicated. In comparison, the SL is such a simple machine but the driving experience can't be beat. Lots of fun for the driver and navigator and I think the SL enjoys it too :D

Not much feedback when driving a new car unless it's some sore of high performance car.  New cars make me sleepy.  Not much to do or feel other than point them in the right direction.  Not so with a Pagoda!  There's no getting bored when behind the wheel of a 113.
