Europa TR mono speaker wiring
« on: August 29, 2015, 16:55:25 »
Anyone know how to connect the speaker on a europa tr mono. It allows two speakers to be connected. The two pins close together are labeled 5  and the othe two are labeled 2.5. There are two + labels over the two 5 pins.

I think i should use the two 5 pins, but which is the + and which is the -, or does it matter?

Correct, use the two in the middle labeled 5 (Ohms) and polarity does not matter.
The two black plugs are for connecting an automatic antenna trigger.
There is a wiring diagram in the technical manual showing the wiring: http://www.sl113.org/wiki/Electrical/RadioAndAntenna
