Removing Tail Light Lens Housing Question?
«

I am attempting to replace a cracked left tail light lens with a new one and I have removed all of the nuts from inside the trunk/boot of the back of the unit. The outside left of the trim piece is loose and is easy to move, but the right side is not free, where it is under the piece of trim that goes to the handle for the trunk lid. I am looking for guidance on the proper approach to free the right side of the tail light trim so I may remove it and replace the lens.
Best regards,
Roland

Problem solved! There is a small Phillips head screw on the underside of the joining trim piece between the tail light assembly and the trunk handle. Once that is removed that trim piece is freed and then the tail light assembly also frees up!
