I put a question to Kent Bergsma's You Tube channel (Mercedessourse). You can see his answer here at around the 10 minute mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXAT3Y7HF44

Any other suggestions? Happy motoring.....

Kent reads it out at around the 10 minute point. It was about tuning, and why it gives a jerky response at low revs.

Hi Naj,

I have ordered 6 new injectors from here in Europe as I would have to pay an extra 20% tax if I ordered from the USA, I hope to be replacing them next week, then it's hibernation time. I'm sending the front chrome parts to be redone in Slovakia. They've been recommended by a man here in Prague who does great restorations of British Classics: http://www.classicchrome.eu/page/index.php?page=welcome.

Hi Matthew, thanks for that, I have also been struggling with this for some time now. Have cleaned the injectors but i suspect my car is running to rich too. Will check the districutor timing and dwell angle, it look like you have to remove the bonnet (hood) to do this. Comments on if this is right appreciated.

cheers
