Need help identifying carpet colour 8008 equivalent

Hi, I am in the process of renewing the bamboo MBTex on my rear parcel tray (1972 280SE 3.5).  At the same time the carpet on the parcel tray has faded to a grey when it should be a sort of ginger brown (8008).  The rest of the carpet in the car is in surprisingly good shape and doesn't need replacing. I would like to replace just the parcel tray carpet

I have looked on this website and googled colour MB 8008 but can find no actual colour matches. The colour does not appear to be a two tone loop but it is closer to cognac than dark brown. It is definitely a loop not square weave. Can anyone point me to a website that shows the colour plse and better still would supply a piece I could bet shaped and bound locally please.

whoops, my wife has told me the carpet does have two colours in it, one is brown and the other a goldy colour?

Hi Garry, thanks for that, I actually got the carpet for my 280SL from these guys, and i have already had a look thanks. Nothing jumps out, maybe somewhere in between bamboo and cognac? Attached are two shots of old carpet the same colour that Andy Burns gave me.

Sure looks like the one they have in the photo for the w111 which I think is cognac or were the ones from Andy from KHM??

Hi, yes the colour looks close but not the weave.  I think I might ask KHM to identify the carpet for my model and year plus the 8008.  I have the build card too which specifies the upholstery/carpet combo.
