A1103501475: Thrust arm repair kit content

Does anyone know the exact content of the thrust arm repair kit (A1103501475)? The picture in the EPC is not always correct.
I am going to order parts, and want to know what additional parts I need to order.

Note that the large dia trailing arm bolt, key width 36mm, supplied nowadays is made with a flat face.
I save and refurbish the originals; I think it is a nice touch and makes quite a visible difference there on the rear axle.
I suppose, the "hollowed out" original version bolt is too expensive to produce today. See comparison photo attached, "current vs. original".

Note, I borrowed the pic "Trailing arm bolt", not my car. The bolt should be tightened to >300NM (some 225 lbft); the thin metal washer shall then be folded on one hex side, to lock the bolt in position.
To remove the bolt, a tool such as shown on attached pic is useful
Note No 2: Be sure to only fully fasten these four bolts once the car is on its wheels; suspension in "normal" position, otherwise you introduce tension in the rubber, gives inferior ride quality and short life for rubber components...

WRe: I have seen the SLS kit. I prefer to buy original MB parts, therefore I wanted to find out if the MB repair kit included all the necessary parts.

Hans: Thank you for pointing out the difference between new and old bolts. I will try to rescue my old ones. One of them was slightly rounded during disassembly. What is the correct finish on these bolts? I can not see any yellow cad/zinc on the bolts that I removed. I believed that they were black phosphate or similar.
I used the same tool, together with a clamp, for disassembly. Even with this setup, I had to heat the bolt to get them loose.

That's right, they were. Just that when one refurbishes parts, it is convenient to make them all yellow cad (anti corrosion, one batch to vendor etc.). From factory, front and rear axle assemblies were painted flat black all over anyway, screws, fittings and all.

Some fellow restorers of our cars like to keep some yellow, it sure stands out nicely against the black

See image attached. Compare with photo from WRe. The two M14 fine pitch Nylock nuts are included for the mount at the thrust arm front end. There you most likely need additional new rubber doughnuts.

Thanks Hans. I can do some shopping now that I know what is in the kit.
I have found some pictures with yellow cad bolts, and I agree that they do look good. Now I have to decide whether to keep it original or good looking.

Indeed. These are pleasant choices... A comforting fact is, one can always paint the bright parts suitably flat black at any later date
