I need advise--
-on my sun visors (71 280sl )the part on the upper right (the chrome and plastic part that holds 2 screws) is corroded and I want to replace those pieces. I unscrewed the screw with the hopes of removing the piece and replacing it (with the second pic --piece available from authentic classics) but it feels as if there is a rod that runs through the entire length of the visor. Am I missing something here? Can that piece be removed?
