Hello everyone,

I have purchased all the old style "C" Flat head screw Norma clamps (like the ones sold for W113 in kits) except for the Engine side of the Radiator hoses and the two sides of the Water Pump hose that is cut to size.  These require clamps that are in excess of 50mm, but I can't find availability to "old style" clamps.  46mm is the largest Norma "C" type clamp I can find.  Does anyone know if there were larger clamps available IN THE OLD STYLE CLAMP?    I may end up just using the Norma worm type clamps for these locations, but would sure like to have all the clamps match!  Thanks for your time!
Best Regards,

I believe they are called "S/SP" clamps. Maybe try the source directly to find a distributer.

J.P.  you could also use the original Beru flip clamps in that location:

They are available from George at AuthenticClassics.

Alfred...they may be the "ticket"!!!   They would compliment the Norma clamps a lot better then a worm clamp (unless  MB originally used worm clamps in this location only).  I have combed through old shop manuals, hoping to find a photo of the original setup.  The referenced post you provided a link to looks like a 3.5 setup, as the boot on the temperature switch is the same as mine!!

Tyler,

Thanks for the info about the S/SP clamps.   Funny...trying to find information on line in the States hasn't turned up anything for that style (which is exactly what I need).   I did call Norma Group today, so hopefully they will have some good news!

For closure...I was able to obtain some Norma clamps 50mm Screw type from Authentic Classic.com.  I also purchased Beru flip clamps, in case the 50mm aren't large enough.  Case closed!!  :)

I have 52mm old style Normas.  How many do you need?

Peter, You sold me the complete clamp kit!  It has really come in handy with the work being done on my car.

Pete......you sold me a set for my 250sl!!    :)

I thought of e-mailing you but someone posted on MBCA that Authentic Classics had 50mm.  Hence, I purchased some.  So you have clamps marked "52"' which would be larger than the "50"?  If so, I think they would fit better over the hose that's cut to size for the water pump.   I'd like to purchase 4 each in that case.   Do you have a Paypal account? Thanks!!
