This one isn't a quiz.  It's about a part I haven't seen before.

I was working to replace the parking brake shoes on a 230SL that had a later disc brake rear end installed at some point in its life.  I noticed that the brake anchor plate was completely different from the usual with its rolled edge.  The springs that hold the parking brake shoes were also different.  The EPC says that the screws and washers securing the plate to the axle housing are also different.  The EPC also says that this plate was used on the 250SL up to 000817.  It was also used on early 108, 109, 111, and 112 models.

Fortunately, the replacement 126 shoes fit.  Just be careful not to break the little holding springs as the newer ones won't work.
