Don't know the part number but I believe it is a V belt, 10 x 875.  The power steering belt would also be a V belt, 13 x 750.

Found the part #, 000 997 59 92.  These can be ordered from most parts suppliers.

I have a similar question  -which is the correct fan belt for my 1971 280SL with aircon?

Thanks,
Mike

Never received an answer to my question above, I had some spare time this weekend and took these pics with my endoscope camera.

For future reference:
1971 280SL Auto with Aircon is fitted with two 13x1075 belts and one 10x825 these ones are made by Continental.
I'm not sure if it's the same for all models with aircon?

FWIW I've ordered some spares to keep in the car.

Best,
Mike
