California Dream ...
« on: November 04, 2016, 17:23:26 »
Great story on page 36 ... just like to share it. A great deal of us can identify with his story I'm sure. I for one having had similar dreams during my childhood in Eastern Germany playing with small blocks of wood pretending it to be cars also never dreamt that one day once retired I would owne 2 of the great cars ever made. Maybe one day soon I shall write a story similar to his and call it the Canadian Dream. :) enjoy the read. The 280SL is his favorite in exterior 903 Blue as mine is.

My pleasure Achim, its always nice to share something nice like this.

BTW, You should be able to also open the site and select one of the back issues then read the story. Sometimes the magazine gives you the option to download a PDF file (like I was able to do with the article I attached earlier). However, as you mentioned to gain full access one needs to subscribe. I don't have a subscription, I only have it Bookmarked and look into it from time to time.

I will list the steps and associated screens that should open.

First the web Site (see first screen shot that should open) ---> http://www.mercedesenthusiast.co.uk

Next if one clicks on "Back Issues" (see second screen shot that should open).

Next if you click on the selection for example "Pagoda Passion" (see third screen shot should open) you can then read the story.

Now it might not be possible for you to open there web site (I don't know) do give it a try, Always some great stuff to see on a rainy day :) or as time permits.

The also have a great Facebook Page ---> https://www.facebook.com/ClassicMercedes

Best,

Dieter
