Fabric sunroof.
« on: November 13, 2016, 09:11:40 »
Hi,

just seen a 1967 coupe with a fabric sunroof for sale.  The only info I can find indicates the sunroof was steel but the photos look like it's original.  Does anyone know if the fabric roof was an option? Thanks

I know you could get these on the ponton cars, but I don't think they were ever available on the 111/112 coupes. If they were really available, sure would like to learn a bit more about them.

Those fabric sunroofs were available for the W110/W111 sedan for sure.

I support Hans' opinion here, not ever available for the Coupé. Not from the factory.

Thanks all for the responses. Confirmed what I thought that its been added at some stage. Shame, looks a nice care otherwise.
