Well Gary that's thru but I'm a sucker for classic cars ...so cannot resist a car I come across. And a funny thing is that people tip you off , if they know you are in to classics ... "Say you're into classic junk right ... I know a guy who has standing so and so " .. And these things always get me interested , and makes me to go and get a look there .... and then I have to buy, and another project is taking space on my garage floor.
And no my friend I did do some VW's and maybe if you work with aftermarket parts they can be restored on a budget ... But no way if you want to work with OEM parts .... especially splitty busses ... look what happened with Samba Versions !
Yes its a Porsche 912 ... Keen eye I must say. But not all 911 came with Fuchs Rims , the early ones came with Steelies in chrome or paint also . Love these cars and their simplicity ....This one is going to be a keeper ( costs are so high that there will be no other option anymore
