Correct Torque for Injectors & Lines ?

Hi All,

 :?: What is the corrrect torque lbs for installing the fuel injectors?  Fuel Lines?  I have heard, read 18 lbs as well as 25 lbs.

What does the group say?

The good ol' Tabellenbuch says (I hope this time I'm on the correct page) for all W113:
Fuel injectors into cylinder head 3 ... 3.5 mkp
Fuel line (screwed cap) 2.5 mkp
(1 mkp equals 7.233 ftlb)

I tighten them until they don't leak. Sometimes it's more than what the book says and sometimes it would be less. I've had a few that must have been damaged and it was very difficult to stop any leaking.

I just use a crow foot or regular end wrench for this work. Make sure you hold the injector or the line can twist. They should come apart without holding the injector but sometimes they're pretty tight. Can't heat them either so it can be a challenge. Use a bit of anti sieze if they tight or a bit rusty which will help them to come apart next time you remove the lines.
