What tire is everyone using on a 68 250 sl (195/70r14) with a white stripe on the side wall.

Welcome to the group Cardone.  The 195/70s you mention appear to be very popular here and there are several manufacturers who supply white walls. They are slightly beefier than the originals. There are other opinions however.

I suggest you read the section in the technical manual on tires (third heading from the left at the top of the page) and also do a search on this forum by clicking on the fourth heading from the left at the top of the page and typing in "tires".  You will find a world of good discussion there.
