New sun visors are over $350 each from every supplier I know of.  Good european parts dealers are Van Dijk in the Netherlands at www.classicsl.com and DB Depot in Germany at www.dbdepot.de.  Their English site is not as complete as the German version, but it's easy to navigate the German site.  Both dealers ship to the U.S. and are easy to deal with.

Has anyone refurbished their old visors? Is it possible, also I have a '70, and have not been able to remove the chrome support rod, in order to rechrome it, Any suggestions, as $350 x 2 seems awfully expensive. Why can't they be recovered ??

As far as I know, new sun visors should not cost more than 200 or 240 Euro each +VAT in Italy (surely not 350$!)

Try also http://www.pagoden.de/.  Herr Koellner also takes parts in trade for a price reduction.  Have always found him easy to deal with -- answers Emails in English promptly.
