Any thoughts on the Honda Element 2005

Wonder if any of you own a Honda Element.
I'm thinking of getting one as an everyday practical car.
Manual and sunroof are a must.  Pro's and Cons with 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder?
Anything I should look for?
Gas mileage?
Thanks in advance.
Need to replace my everyday 2003 Golf TDI with 5 spd manual.  Becoming a hassle to get in and out of.  I'm 6'-8"

I have heard from a friend that getting one may cause changes in your lifestyle.  You may find yourself buying a new bicycle and start wearing lycra and hanging out with women 1/2 your age.   He said it worked for him. 

I was seriously looking at an element a few years back and found that unless you are really going to be hard on it a 4cyl should be fine.

If you're in the mood for a Honda, then you might want to take a look at the CrossTour.  That said, if you have dogs or haul messy things then I think that the Element can be hosed out, which is nice.

I Dont know if you are familiar with "EricTheCarGuy" on youtube? He has an automotive repair channel, a pretty successful one.. He happens to own an element and has many videos about repairs and upgrades. Here is one video

I appreciate your frank answers.
I am an avid cyclist(not at the moment), will get back to it.
Am in the midst of doing the 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom to my humble abode.
And I've been looking for another jeep like vehicle that has seats that are higher up and a higher roofline.
Current everyday car is a 2003 Golf TDI (love it) and have to bend my neck at an angle to get in and out.
Also too low for me to climb down into, already lifted, but not enough.

What kind of mileage should I expect from the Element?
