I cleaned a few pumps by now and I have an ultrasonic cleaner. The limitation is the size of the part, they can barely clean the injectors, the pump body is huge compared to the parts that usually get cleaned. Why not just dismantle the pump the right way. Yes screws can break but there are ways to fix that and I have done it successfully. If your pump is 50 years old, you have 50 years old rubber o-rings that are now hardened. Is the pump seized or having low flow/pressure?
