Please help diagnose my starter problem - short video

Hi, I'm trying to sort out a few things on my 67 250SL.  A new problem has appeared - when I try to start the car when it's hot after cranking some the starter seems to disengage but the motor keeps whirling.  Is my solenoid bad?  Or am I missing a tooth on the ring gear?

I have 1 vote for the bendex clutch and no other replies.  But 67 people viewed this.  Anyone else?

I'd guess it's the solenoid rather than the ring gear.
