Fifty Year Birthday - 250 SL - SoCal Pagoda group

The Pagoda group here in SoCal decided it was time for a fifty year birthday party for the 250 SL, So BarryD (with some co-conspirator help from yours truly) put it together at a local winery. We had four 250 SLs in the winery courtyard, and one outside (had to leave early) and five other Pagodas.

We enjoyed lunch and cake on the patio, while live jazz played pleasantly from the adjacent venue.

A grand time was had by all.

(If we can put on an event - so can you!!!).

Well, since my mug is displayed in these shots, I can't deny being there.   What a great venue.

- did you notice the cake?  The chrome on the that cake is better than the chrome on my car    Thanks Jonny.
- a couple of us stayed a bit longer and were able to see our very own 250 owner, Barry, join the band for a set with his Trombone!  Amazing hidden talent.   Great fun.

very nice event and was great seeing our Pagoda Friends.    I was lucky enough to still be in California to participate.   Was fun giving the 250 a 220 mile topless roundtrip run.

Congrats to you and your car on her golden anniversay. Love that cake too. I will have to get the name of your baker for our party next year. Also nice to see a few faces behind the names of folks I have had the pleasure of chatting with on this forum. Looks like great time was had by all. You guys make me miss my So Cal home (just a bit)
