Spotted...no Pagodas
« on: December 21, 2004, 05:28:24 »
While coming to work this cold morning on my Vespa I saw two rather unusual cars.

1st: a very old Beetle. Olive green, tan soft top with oval rear window. left hand drive and it looked like it was from the 1950s

2nd: a black Mercedes McLaren SLR - which I have to say sounds fantastic!

Needless to say, I progressed through the morning traffic faster than either of these 2 cars! :D

One of them new-fangled modern jobs: GT200

I traded my ET4 in for it a month or 2 back. I came within a hairs breadth of buying a restored 1964 VB on ebay about the same time but the practicality won out: comfort, space, room for wife, storage etc
