Hi Jonny B, That be Chris (if I'm not mistaking) in the passenger seat and Bill Hollins pretending to drive away
All having a wonderful time ...
Dieter
Mike, I made it home in 12 hours with stops and more then 3 fuel refills
lets just leave it at that. The only issue I had my 2 year old GPS went on strike and I was lucky to have maps from Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York State in my car to find my way home again
(via US routes 29, 66, 70, 76, 79 and 90) at the border the border guard was mainly interested in the car then waved me thru with "Have a great night Sir" ... he may turn up as a member some day
I did declare the Poster, spark plugs and the book like a good boy should.
Hauser asked me in a PM what on earth have we been drinking, well just about anything under the sun
cocktail followed by dinner with more of the same. What can I say Tom is a wonderful host he knows a thing or two about Gemüdlichkeit for his guests all driving Classic German cars
BTW. When we had dinner during the Moseltour last July, Peter H. was an equal gracious host and as we too had a few drinks Achim sat beside me and we looked over thru the glass divided dinning room looking at the guests driving the Mercedes R/C 107. Achim turned to me and said "On this side here are the classic drivers, over there are the used car people" I just smiled and blamed it on the cocktails we had that evening.
