Gee, you are up early, but then, you are eight hours ahead of me! It's raining here, about 40°F and not a day to take the pagoda out.

Happy holidays everyone. Perfect weather here in Hong Kong. About 20 degrees celsius. 4.40am - couldn't sleep. Kept thinking about my Pagoda Project...will probably go for a ride (cycling)...

This may be a little late - but our Pagoda celebrated Christmas by taking my wife and I for a nice 35 degree jaunt down to see some friends in Orange, Virginia.  Hardtop on and heater on low, we cruised elegantly there and back (about 125  miles round trip).  On the way home, we drove into Washington to view the Capitol Christmas Tree on the west lawn of the Capitol.  This year the tree, a magnificent 70 foot tall red spruce, came from Virginia, just about 5 miles from our cabin in Highland County so we had a personal interest in seeing it.  When we walked back to the car there was a crowd around where the the Pagoda was parked.  We thought someone had broken into it or backed into it or something, but happily it turned out to just be admirers!  It was a lovely Christmas.
