1965 230SL Run / Idle

I had a person remove the engine from my 1965 230SL for detailing and change out exterior gaskets etc. 

The Fuel Pump, cylinder head or rear oil seal were not removed.

The linkage gas and air were reinstalled in the same positions they were in when they were removed.

The car now starts but will not run. 

Is there some out there we can chat too or face time to try and resolve the problem.

Does anyone out there have a phone number for someone I can contact to discuss my problem

Had a guy remove the engine from my car to detail and replace the exterior gaskets.  He did not remove the fuel pump or cylinder head.  When he went to restart the car it starts but will not run or idle.  Maybe a linkage issue.  Do you have a name we can call or face time to see if he can help out.  Certainally no issue in paying the person for his time.

Derm, as you are a full member you have access to the "Linkage Tour" which is a sticky in this section.  I would start there and if you are still having problems after that is set up ask more questions here.
