Cars & Cocoa at Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum
« on: January 07, 2018, 21:54:57 »
It was a sunny but nippy 42° F in Birmingham yesterday afternoon for Cars & Cocoa at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. Nevertheless quite a few enthusiasts turned up to greet The Drive Home III caravan and crew en route to Detroit for the North American International Auto Show which opens January 13 in Detroit.  See details here:

The Drive Home III cars departed Boca Raton Florida on January 3, making the third stop of their journey in Birmingham on what promises to be a very cold drive north.  A further six stops are scheduled.  The highlight of the afternoon was participation by local attendees in several parade laps on the Barber Track with The Drive Me Home III cars. The Barber Museum is the world’s largest motorcycle museum. The track at Barber is the home of the Honda Indy Car Grand Prix of Alabama each year.
