Not a day goes by when I don't get a mailing, see an ad, or get an email (to the point that it all becomes "noise") from our friends at Harbor Freight. As many of you agree, it's hit or miss with many of their tools.
I was there buying scaffolding to do a painting job in our home yesterday, and saw their new-ish line of cordless tools, branded "Bauer". Such as this:
https://www.harborfreight.com/20v-hypermax-lithium-12-in-drilldriver-kit-63531.htmlWow, what a
huge difference over their older "Chicago" brand electric tools--a substantial quality difference. You can't tell from the catalog listing but if you see it in person you'd know. They had, in the store, a 1/2" drill; 1/2" hammer drill; impact driver. Batteries were just $20. Each drill "kit" came with a battery, and each drill kit cost
more than one battery for my Bosch drills...
If you find yourself at one of the stores, don't forget to take a look at these drills. If I needed any, this would probably be high on the list.
