Hi all ,

My pagoda doesn’t have the two chrom trim on the hardtop, how can I find out if that original or it has been removed from the previous owners , and does that mention in the data card .if so what is the cod ?

Thanks

The two chrome strips (trims) on the H/T roof were an extra option, had to be ordered by first owner.
Code is "chrome strips on top of hard top roof  (SA No: 60/0)".
These were chromed brass, but on a late 280SL they were made from aluminium.

Purpose of these strips (other than looking nice) was for attachment of ski rack or roof rack

The roof would have needed to have the mounting holes closed if it originally had the chrome strips. Trim mounting Screws are installed from the inner side of the roof.
