The C250's M271 engine is turbo charged with an aluminum block and heads, 4 valve per cylinder dual overhead cam, and with forged reciprocating bottom end parts. 2009 onward this engine had direct injection.
The C250 is about 200lbs lighter than the Pagoda, with a 0-60 of about 6.5 seconds. Where the M271 engine shines is touring driving, exactly the style of the Pagoda. Imagine the Pagoda with 50-70mph passing times 1/2 of stock with this much additional torque.
