Today I removed the engine from the car and cleaned the inside of the engine room.
It has become a nice collection of separate parts in the garage already.

The gearbox and drive shaft are also unscrewed from the car.

The steering device also has to be removed.
And I invented an anti-gravity force!
So the front axle isn't necessary any more.  ;D

I admit that the new suspension is a bit strange.  ;D
There are al lot of chromed parts at a Pagode.
And apart from the front bumper, I do not even know if everything is complete.

The valve of the heat exchanger in the dashboard was stuck.
With removing it, unfortunately the pipe of the heat exchanger broke loose, despite a lot of penetrating oil.
So I removed a lot of more parts form the dashboard.
After that, I already started with disassembly of the rear axle.

Now after some 50yrs, most rubber parts have perished and it is time to renew them. Especially chassis rubber. This is true for all of our Pagoda cars

But some parts really have to be renewed.  ;D

Very nice job on the steering wheel. Can you tell us more about what you did?
After a lot of sanding, I filled the cracks with Milliput, that's an epoxy putty.
Then sanding in the right shape.
After spraying in the color, it's also sprayed in clear varnish.
My first impression is that it's not to smooth, it feels good.

The front axle is complete disassembled now.
I want to powder coat a lot of the parts.
Much cleaning has been done, but I still have to sort all the small parts.

The parts of the front suspension have been powder coated and several new parts have arrived.

The bolts, nuts and rings of the front suspension have been yellow passivated, what a difference!
I just started with rebuilding of the front suspension.
